The One Where I'm In A Mood

This morning when I got to work, my supervisor asked if we had heard about our Mayor. Apparently, he had run off to Mexico with his illegal partner. He was the best Mayor this town has ever had, and I'm pretty sure everyone knew he was gay. He said that he left because he knew by his partner being here, it was illegal, and he didn't feel right about it. So imagine all the hateful comments and horrible things people are saying about him. Even though, everyone knows he was a damn good Mayor. I heard someone say, "You know, even though he was gay, he was still a good Mayor." Hmm. Ok. Even though he was gay. I can hear in the office next door the jokes that are being made about him. Why do people think it's ok? Why is it funny?

And then, of course you have American Idol. I'm willing to bet if Adam wasn't gay, he would have won. He was an excellent singer. Not to say that Kris wasn't, but I just have a strong feeling that because of Adam's lifestyle, that's why he didn't win.

Maybe I should have started this post out differently.

Hi world. I would like to introduce you to one of my best friends. The funniest, most hysterical, would do anything for you, outgoing and lovable person I know, my brother Josh. Who, also, happens to be gay. I love him, so much, that I find myself taking up for every gay person out there when someone says something hateful. I love him, so much, that I find myself in tears, while screaming at a guy I used to work with for saying horrible things to another guy at work that happened to be gay. I love him so much, that I am writing a post, all for him. A lot of sisters don't have a close relationship with their brothers. I do. I am so thankful for that. I just get so tired of hearing close minded people saying things that really, they shouldn't have ever let leave their mouths.

I love you Joshie. You are what other people should strive to be. You are so smart, so funny and so friendly. I can't imagine my life without you. Even though you are gay.

Sthuuuper Exthited

Update: Blue Eyes just called to inform me that the Border Patrol just pulled over a white van across the street from our house. I just thought it was hilarious that he called and told me this, so I wanted to share it with yall!

I took off my poll because, even though you have all voted yes for me to cut my hair, I can't do it. I wore my hair curly yesterday and decided it needs to keep growing out. So, thanks anyways guys! I am still coloring it pretty blonde though. My appointment is next Saturday and it can't come quick enough!
On May 8th, B.E. and I are going to Six Flags where we will be meeting up with one of my besties (oh yea, I said besties-DEAL) and her main squeeze whom I have never met. I am really looking forward to meeting him. He will probably leave her after he sees the two of us together, though. We are...well...we act pretty foolish and very silly around each other. We say things that no one else would ever think of, and do things that most people wouldn't do in public for fear of embarrassing themselves. We don't care though. That's how we roll. It does, however, leave others wondering about us.
OH...me and B.E. have decided that we are going to do that Bungee Jump thing that Six Flags has!! Yiiiikes! My bestie (said it again) has agreed to take our picture and I just can't wait to see the fear excitement on my face!!
Anyhooters...we will be spending the night in Dallas and then we will get up Saturday morning (that is if we don't fall out of the sky at Six Flags and splat all over the place) and drive to Longview to meet up with one of B.E. friends. We are going to take her to lunch at some fantabulous Japanese Steakhouse. After we stuff ourselves silly we are going to Shreveport to do some gamblin' and just relax. We have a really nice hotel that has a jacuzzi in each room (what, what!). So I am really excited for this trip. We need it!

Potty Breaks

Today won't be a MonDayDream. I'm not really day dreaming right now. I'm floating actually. Why you ask? Because it is my goal to drink 24oz of water each hour today. Every hour. It's hard! But I have to get in shape before May. Serious shape. First of all, I have a bet going with my brother to see who can lose the most weight. Secondly, Blue Eyes and I are going to Six Flags in May and then to Longview to visit some of his friends from when he lived there. It's a girl. I'm not jealous or anything, but I want to look the best I can. I want his friends to say, "He has a HOT girlfriend!" I already have in my head a really cute outfit for Six Flags and I just really need to lose weight. When I first moved in with B.E., I lost a lot of weight just by watching what I was eating. I wasn't working out or anything. So, I'm going to try to eat a tiny amount of food each day, and drink all my water, AND me and my friend Ashley are going to start walking tonight! I'm pretty excited about that, because I don't get to see her very often, and I love talking with her.

Well, wish me luck. I know I won't ever be stick figure thin, Like Paris Hilton, because I have way too much muscle for that. And I don't want to look like that. What I would like to look like is:

I love to blog. I love to read blogs. But for some reason, I don't ever make time to blog!! I have been pretty busy over the past few days. With school and work, I'm not left with a whole lot of extra time to blog.

I am so happy because Blue Eyes and I bought a new car! (or a whip, as he calls it) We got a 2008 Black Trail Blazer and I love it! So for our first road trip we went to San Antonio on Saturday to the River Walk. We were only planning on spending the day there and then coming back that night, but Blue Eyes' Dad offered to get us a hotel ON the River Walk and it was so much fun! We walked around, had a drink at some British Pub called Mad Dogs (where I swear our server was a tranny) and then we went to Joe's Crab Shack and had more drinks and food. After we spent all of our money :/ (whoops)...we went back to our room on the 20th floor and decided to go down to the 3rd floor to the hot tub and pool. It was pretty chilly out, but we got in the pool anyway!! BRRR!! The hot tub felt really good and we were in bed by 11. Sad. We were tired from driving all day!

I have my first Anatomy test tonite, and B.E. helped me study last night. That was fun. Hmm. I think I'll have to study alone because we can't seem to get anything done without making jokes. Thank you for helping me B.E.!!!

Valentine's is coming up and I LOVE that day! I know some people don't but I really just love everything about Valentine's Day. I'm not expecting a present or anything but I still really love the day. Honestly, I love just getting a card, because that means a lot more to me. Your significant other actually has to read the cards and pick one that's best for you, and I like that. It takes a little time, but it's worth it. (i also love tulips, massages, and pedicures..hint..hint..hint...)

Anyway, I better start studying some more.

That Time Of Year Again

So this last weekend, Brandon and I went to my parents' to celebrate Christmas with my Dad's side of the family. We had lots of fun! I also turned 27 on Sunday and my Mom made a really good lunch and we had CUPCAKES!! I got to see my little Rowdy and he was as sweet as ever! OH and I almost forgot, I need to say hello to DANA OGLESBY!!! My BFF reads my blog now! YEHAW!! Also, me and Brandon did NOT mean to match our shirts. It just happened that way!
