Breathing relief that is.
My numbers went up just like they were supposed to. Wednesday, my HCG levels were 383. Today they were 735. The nurse said they were "beautiful". I'll take that as a very good thing. She said since my numbers are that low, and we couldn't see anything on the ultrasound, that I'm probably only a few weeks. This is going to be a long 9 months. I go back July 8 for another ultrasound. I hope we can see our little blob! I haven't been sick yet. The only thing that I've had is pain in my booooobies and I'm really tired in the afternoons.
This weekend I'm going to try and clean the house really good because Thursday we are going to get my 10 year old cousin and she is going to stay with us for the Fourth of July weekend. She's so much fun to be around!!
Well, looks like I have a wedding to plan. Yay!

I missed Goodwill Wednesday, and for that, I am very sorry. But, my friends, other things have been going on in Breezy's Crazy World, and I think I am ready to share them.
Last Thursday, I went grocery shopping. While shopping, I decided to just pick up a pregnancy test. Since I have polycystic ovaries, my periods are very irregular. So I never know if I'm late or what. When I got home I took said test. Oh. That looks like a faint plus sign, I say to myself. So I say, "Hey Blue Eyes, what does this look like to you?" Blue Eyes responds with, "It looks like a plus sign." I said, "Yea, that's kind of what I thought too." He told me to go get another test and so off to the store I went. I came back with two more, which, would also be positive. The next day I called my OB's office and talked to my nurse. She said there was no need to come in for blood work, if I had taken 3 tests and they were all positive. She set me up with my first appointment, and transferred me to the billing department where I almost had a heart attack when they told me how much we had to pay.
"$430.50 a month for 6 months, and your first payment is due on Wednesday, June 24, when you come in for your first appointment."
Holy geesus. When I told Blue Eyes he didn't understand why we had to pay so much whenI have insurance. I explained to him that I hadn't met my deductible, and that is why. Fortunatley, I am able to change my insurance because of open enrollment, so all of my other payments will be much, much lower. We were so glad to hear that.
I went to my parents' house this weekend for our family reunion and Father's Day, and Blue Eyes stayed home so he could spend time with his Dad. I had been home for about an hour when I just blurted it out.
"I'm pregnant."
My Mom started jumping up and down, she was so excited. My Dad just stared at me.
Blue Eyes has been paying on an engagement ring for me since January, and we were going to go to Vegas in December to get married. We aren't engaged yet, but I knew about the ring and I knew he was going to ask me sometime this summer. We are doing everything backwards, obviously. So we are planning on getting married in August, at his Dad's home. It will just be our immediate family. He still has to propose to me though, of course!!
I went to the Doctor yesterday for my first ultrasound and the nurse couldn't see anything. I was really disappointed, because that was my main fear, not being able to see anything! She said she thought I was probably not very far along and sent me to get blood work done. I will go back Friday to get the second round of blood work to make sure my numbers are going up. Also, tonight I will start taking progesterone because that level was at a 12.1 and they want it over 20.
Please, if you pray, pray for us. I honestly never thought I could get pregnant because of the PCOS and now I am terrified. I'm not terrified to be a Mom, I just don't want anything happening to this baby. Pray that my numbers have doubled or tripled when I go back tomorrow please! We are so happy and cannot wait to start this life together.
Oh yea, I also felt it was necessary to take 7 tests. They were all positive. I just wanted to make sure!!!
And?!?! The nurse also said it looked like I had released a bunch of eggs at once, so, uh, yea. Twins anyone?? Triplets??

First of all, thank yall so, so much for the nice comments that were left on my post yesterday. Even though I don't personally know most of yall, it still meant a lot to me.
My Mom is going to be ok! Her Doctor wanted her to come in yesterday, and he told her it was not a "bad" tumor and it looked liked she has had it for awhile. He said something about blood vessels forming.....I'm really not sure. I just know that she is going to be ok. I was really worried and I know she was too, so I'm very thankful that she got some good news. So thank yall again for the prayers and positive thoughts that were sent!
I started my diet today. So far, it's going good. I mean, it's only 10am, but still, I'm doing good! This morning for breakfast I ate 2 hard boiled eggs and I drank a hot and spicy V8. I'm not a big fan of V8. It is so thick and it's really hard to swallow, but at least I got a full serving of vegetables at breakfast! Hopefully, I will learn to love it. I have to really plan all my meals and snacks the night before so I'm not sure I really like the time that took me last night, but I think it will be worth it.
Blue Eyes and I went and played tennis last night. We stayed for approximately 7 minutes. A tennis player, he is not. I wish I knew someone here that played tennis. I think it was his goal to be as bad as he possibly could be, so that I would stop asking him to play with me. Sneaky.
OH the thing, from the other day, that I couldn't tell yet? I had a job interview for a company that I've been wanting to work at for awhile. She said she would call me for a 2nd interview, but she hasn't yet, and now I'm not excited about it anymore. Oh well. Something will come along.
And lastly, my girls over at The Two Twins and I will be starting something next Wednesday we would like to call, Goodwill Wednesday. We will be purchasing treasures from the wonderful place known as Goodwill, and posting pictures of them for your viewing pleasure. Just in case you don't know what can be found at Goodwill, you will after next Wednesday. And what's so fun is that we will be able to see the different treasures from Texas and Pennsylvania! This should be interesting. I am also planning on selling all my treasures on here, so be sure you place a bid, because I have a feeling you are not going to want to miss out on the awesomeness that I will be selling!
Have a great Thursday!

I Still Need Her

There is something about me that I haven't ever shared. And I say "about me" because your family is what makes you for the most part, right?
I have an awesome Mom. Seriously, she is such a good Mom. She didn't work when we were little so that she could stay home with us. She made us eat a healthy breakfast and we weren't allowed to eat a lot of sugar or sodas. We hated that then, but now I understand why. It was because she cared about us. She gives the best advice, and she is honest. And she is so kind to everyone she meets. She is compassionate for people she doesn't even know, and she never judges anyone.
When I was in the third grade, I liked this boy. His name was Joey English. My Mom was going to come eat lunch with me in the cafeteria (yuck) and I asked her to please wear the pretty scarf in her hair. She would always wear these scarfs in her soft blonde hair, and I thought she was sooo pretty (because she is) and I guess I thought that the boy would like me more if he saw how pretty my Mom was. Silly little third grader.
Anyway, about the part that I haven't ever shared with you. My Mom also happens to be a recovering alcoholic. She's been to rehab 4 times. When all of this happened it was so weird for us, because my Mom never drank when we were younger. It was when me and my brothers moved out, it started. She has stayed sober on and off over the last 3 years or so. There have been times when I really would have liked to slap her across the face. She's put my Dad through a lot of hard times as well as me and my brothers.
Yesterday, apparently, she went and got something to drink and she fell in the drive way and hit her head on my Dad's truck. My Grandma couldn't wake her up so she had to call an ambulance. Once she got to the hospital, they did a CT scan, just to make sure she didn't hurt herself.
They found a tumor.
My Mom has a tumor in her head. I am freaking out and I'm scared and I don't know what to do or think, because this is my Mom. I need her here for a lot longer. I need her to be here when I get married. And when I have a baby, because God knows, I won't know what to do. I need her to be ok. She goes to the Doctor again tomorrow, so hopefully there will be more information. But until then, I am freaking out. You know how people always say "everything happens for a reason"? Well maybe it was a good thing that she got drunk and hit her head so that she could have the scan. I don't know. I just know that I still need her.

The One Where I'm In A Mood

This morning when I got to work, my supervisor asked if we had heard about our Mayor. Apparently, he had run off to Mexico with his illegal partner. He was the best Mayor this town has ever had, and I'm pretty sure everyone knew he was gay. He said that he left because he knew by his partner being here, it was illegal, and he didn't feel right about it. So imagine all the hateful comments and horrible things people are saying about him. Even though, everyone knows he was a damn good Mayor. I heard someone say, "You know, even though he was gay, he was still a good Mayor." Hmm. Ok. Even though he was gay. I can hear in the office next door the jokes that are being made about him. Why do people think it's ok? Why is it funny?
And then, of course you have American Idol. I'm willing to bet if Adam wasn't gay, he would have won. He was an excellent singer. Not to say that Kris wasn't, but I just have a strong feeling that because of Adam's lifestyle, that's why he didn't win.
Maybe I should have started this post out differently.
Hi world. I would like to introduce you to one of my best friends. The funniest, most hysterical, would do anything for you, outgoing and lovable person I know, my brother Josh. Who, also, happens to be gay. I love him, so much, that I find myself taking up for every gay person out there when someone says something hateful. I love him, so much, that I find myself in tears, while screaming at a guy I used to work with for saying horrible things to another guy at work that happened to be gay. I love him so much, that I am writing a post, all for him. A lot of sisters don't have a close relationship with their brothers. I do. I am so thankful for that. I just get so tired of hearing close minded people saying things that really, they shouldn't have ever let leave their mouths.
I love you Joshie. You are what other people should strive to be. You are so smart, so funny and so friendly. I can't imagine my life without you. Even though you are gay.

There must be some Toro's in the atmosphere.....
Oh.My.God. Sorry about that. What? You don't know what I'm talking about? Bring it On! Duh. Google it then.
Why is it that right around Easter the weather always turns to complete CRAP? Always. It's nice all week long and then BAM! It's cold and gross. Blue Eyes and myself will be traveling to the Hill Country this evening to go stay at my parents'. You know what that means right?!?! I get to see ROWDY!!! Yay!! Oh, I get to spend time with my Mom and Dad also. But ROWDY!!! YAY!! I miss him! Anylamewad, we will be spending Easter there. My B.E. is getting over a little cold or something. He's been hoarse and coughing and I'm really hoping I don't get it! He needed to go to the doctor and get a shot but he didn't. I hate being sick. Besides, I don't have just a whole lot of sick time left since I like to use mine when I'm not really sick. Ssshhhhh.
Welp, I should have some pictures after this weekend of our adventures in the Hill Country.
I hope everyone has a great Easter!!
Mmmm....peeps!

Today won't be a MonDayDream. I'm not really day dreaming right now. I'm floating actually. Why you ask? Because it is my goal to drink 24oz of water each hour today. Every hour. It's hard! But I have to get in shape before May. Serious shape. First of all, I have a bet going with my brother to see who can lose the most weight. Secondly, Blue Eyes and I are going to Six Flags in May and then to Longview to visit some of his friends from when he lived there. It's a girl. I'm not jealous or anything, but I want to look the best I can. I want his friends to say, "He has a HOT girlfriend!" I already have in my head a really cute outfit for Six Flags and I just really need to lose weight. When I first moved in with B.E., I lost a lot of weight just by watching what I was eating. I wasn't working out or anything. So, I'm going to try to eat a tiny amount of food each day, and drink all my water, AND me and my friend Ashley are going to start walking tonight! I'm pretty excited about that, because I don't get to see her very often, and I love talking with her.
Well, wish me luck. I know I won't ever be stick figure thin, Like Paris Hilton, because I have way too much muscle for that. And I don't want to look like that. What I would like to look like is:
It will happen. PROMISE!!!!!

First of all, let me begin by saying how bad I feel about neglecting my blog for the past, oh I don't know, 2 weeks or so. Maybe longer. Anyhooters. A lot has happened. I was rear ended in our new ride-bummer. We've been driving a rental which wasn't tooo bad, but it was a car, and now that we have an SUV it felt totally weird. So this past Tuesday, ours was supposed to be ready. I took the rental back and the nice chubby Hispanic boy gave me a ride to the body shop. I got in the Trail Blazer and off I went to get gas. I tried locking the doors with the remote and it would.not.work. Then the tire pressure monitoring system kept coming on. Grrrrreat. They broke something. I had to take it back Wednesday and as I write this, I am car-less. At least I don't have school this week or I would be SOL. I wasn't too injured in the accident. I strained my neck pretty bad. It was a high school boy that hit me. $4800.00 worth of damage he did. Jerk.We went to Lampasas last weekend and had a lot of fun. Me and Blue Eyes went to Austin and got drunk, I mean, played games at Dave and Busters. I had never been before and had a lot of fun. We also played electronic monopoly with my parents and grandma. We are so wild.
And now...I must tell you a couple of things my sweet, sweet Blue Eyes has said that almost made me pee my pants-a little.
When talking about a Bible one of his customer's gave him: "Yea, I don't know. It's that Rick James or something like that."
Me, about to die: "You mean King James?"
Blue Eyes: "Haaa.....I don't know, I guess!"
Me: "Rick James, Bitch!"
Yesterday, I bought chips from H-E-B.....the Texas shaped ones. He's sitting there eating some with salsa and I'm cooking. All of a sudden, he jumps out of his chair with a chip and says,
"OMG, LOOOOK at this chip!!!!!!!"
(but then he quickly sat back down and was like, "oh")
I looked at him and said, "OMG did you think you just found a chip shaped like Texas? Because the entire bag is shaped like Texas!!!"
Him, blushing: "NOO. I didn't."
Me: "YES you did. OMG you are so cute!!!! You thought you found a Texas shaped chip like that person that found a Jesus shaped Cheeto! I love you!!!!"
I really do love you Blue Eyes.

There's Never Any Time!

Every time I hear or say that, it takes me back to an episode of Saved By The Bell. Oh hell yes, the greatest show like, EVER. Ok, not really, but when you're 9, it's pretty darn awesome. You know the one I'm talking about. Where Jesse is taking caffeine pills to stay awake and study and do everything. You know, where she starts singing..and all of a sudden says, "I'm sooooo scarrrrrrrrreedddd!" I love that episode. Go Bayside!!!Anyway, the point of this is, I haven't had any time to blog!! I'm not taking caffeine pills or anything like that, but I might start. I think I've mentioned before that I have 2 online classes, Nutrition and Psychology. And of course I still have my Anatomy class that I go to on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Well, the stupids working at the bookstore sold me the wrong book for my Nutrition class, and, um, hello, I failed my first test with a 59! I was sitting there thinking I must be really incompetent that I can't even pass a test that I have the freaking book to sitting right in front of me. So yea, I found out that I had the wrong book. I don't feel too bad, because this actually happened to a lot of people in my class. Of course there is nothing I can do about that grade because according to my beeeotch of a teacher, it's my fault.
Whatever.
Now I have to really study hard to make up for that horrible grade.
In other oh-so-exciting news, Blue Eyes and I went to Lampasas this past weekend to visit my family. My little brother Josh and his friend Shelby flew down for a visit and we had a lot of fun! Cole was there too (my other brother).
I just got out of a staff meeting, and got some bad news. The GM was telling us that they are going to have to start looking at ways to reduce expenses and the biggest expense is labor, of course. In my mind I was sitting there thinking, "pick me! pick me!" No, not really. I don't really want to lose my job. Or do I? Blue Eyes and I have been talking a lot lately about moving away from San Angelo. We would like to move somewhere maybe around the Austin area. I would love to live in Marble Falls. We really just have to see what jobs we can find, and of course, I have to find a school. I told him that we really need to decide what we are doing before May, because June 1 is the deadline for Nursing School. I hope we can figure something out. I think moving is a really good idea for us.
Ok peeps, I really do have to get some work done. (hehe, yea right)
Hope your week has been fantabulous!!!
MonDayDreams- Chapter 1
Monday, February 9, 2009
Well it's Monday. Hooo rah.
Monday's usually consist of me doing the following:
NOTHING.
NADA.
ZIP.
ZILCH.
I honestly don't really start "working" until Wednesday afternoon. What? I'm just being honest here. So, while I was sitting at my desk, pretending to work, I was thinking about when I was in Junior High. That was only, oh...15 years ago. Whew.
Ok. I just had to take a minute to stop and realize just how old I am. Wow.
So anyhooters. Junior High. The worst time of my LIFE. I don't want to toot my own horn or anything (toot, toot!) but I was popular. I was cute. I was friendly. I had an older boyfriend. I was in the 6th grade, and he was in the 8th grade and it was a big deal! So apparently, the older girls hated me for this and they wanted to make sure that every day of my 6th grade year was the most miserable, dreadful thing for me. Let's just say they did a very, very good job at this. For anyone that really knows me, they know that I am honestly a very sweet girl, and I just want to be liked! I hate confrontation more than anything because I'm a huge baby.
Every morning before class started, all the students stood outside by the Art room. My Mom would drop me off, and I would look around to see if the evil beeotches were anywhere near. If they were, I would walk in the complete opposite direction of where they were standing and I would try so hard to hurry so they couldn't see me. They always did though. They would yell mean things at me and I had to act like I couldn't hear them. If they saw me in the hall, they would push me or stare me down. I tried to be nice to them. I smiled but that usually resulted in a "What the %$#@ are you looking at?!?!?!" I also played softball and the mean horrible girls played too. Thankfully, they were not on my team. I was better than them, and they knew it. (toot, toot) After one game, the meanest girl out of the group walked past me and punched me in the arm leaving a very pretty bruise. This is when my Mom decided it was time to talk to the girls' parents and the principal. I. Was. Mortified. Having my Mom do this helped not one bit. It actually made it worse. What did help was me no longer being with my older boyfriend. This is the time in my life when I realized most girls were jealous, catty and for the most part down right mean. The sad thing is that it should have ended in Junior High. But look around you. How many of these girls are still walking around today?
I wonder if those girls ever think about how ridiculously mean they were to me? Probably not, but oh well.
And now this begins Chapter 1 of Breezy's "MonDayDreams" (get it? Monday Daydreams..thank you B.E. for that clever little play on words). Stay tuned..next Monday is a whole new daydream!!
How is your Monday going???
I'm Stuffed

The day after Thanksgiving really STINKS! Not only do I have to work-gross....but, I always feel like I gained five pounds in one sitting. Oh well, I'll just have to work out extra hard next week!
My Thanksgiving was good. I got to see my family and ROWDY!!! I don't remember if I ever posted about this or not, but Rowdy lives with my parents now. He is so happy there. It broke my heart to see him though, because I really miss him a lot! He slept with me when I was there and I just loved on him so much. I'll get to spend more time with him at Christmas, and I can't wait! Brandon went home with me for Thanksgiving so that was fun. My parents like him A LOT! He and my Dad were sitting on the couch talking and I have never heard some of the stories my Dad was telling him about all his old trucks that he has had. My Dad does not usually sit and talk and tell stories to anyone, so I know he really likes him a lot.
We are going to Abilene tonight to take my brother something we brought back from Lampasas for him. I'm so glad it's Friday!!
In other exciting news I've lost 20 pounds since leaving the "ex". Oh yes. It's amazing what NOT sitting around watching TV every night will do for you.
Ha.

Domestic Goddess-I Get's It From My Mama
Friday, November 21, 2008

So I planned a Thanksgiving Dinner Pot Luck at my work for today. And because I am exactly like my mom, I HAD to sign up to bring the most complicated item-TURKEY!!! I don't know what it is about us. Maybe we have to show off our awesome culinary skills? Maybe we are insane? I'm not real sure.
Anyturkeyway. I set my alarm for 2:00am. Yes, you are reading that correctly. 2am. At 1:40am I awake in a panic, thinking that I have overslept and wondering how in the world I'm going to cook at 14lb turkey by 8am. After I looked at my clock and realized I had not overslept, I very slowly got out of bed. Hardwood floors are so cold in the morning. BRRR. Ok, so here I am, in the kitchen that is being torn apart right now because Brandon *blush, giggle, blush* has three home improvement projects going on right now. Half of the cabinets don't have doors, half of the floor is being redone. Silly boy. Tee hee. Oh sorry, off subject. Ok, so.....here I am half asleep carefully cutting open the wrapper on this, *vomit* naked bird. Here is the part I really hate. Pulling out the giblets and the NECK. EWWWWW. So disgusting. I finally get the nasty little naked bird in the roaster and rub garlic and rosemary all over it. Mmm, smells so yummy.
Let me just go ahead and fast forward. I got up at 3:30am, 5:00am and 6:00am. I didn't want my bird, who I went ahead and named Frank, to burn or dry out. I also had to cook broccoli cheese casserole and dinner rolls.
Needless to say, me tired. I hope everyone likes the turkey. I'm thinking it's going to be the last one I make!!!
